Q. Will I feel any pain?
A. You will feel nothing.

Q. Will I be unconscious?
A. Yes, under outpatient general anesthesia.

Q. Will I be monitored?
A. Yes, one of our specially trained team members is with you and your vital signs are monitored during the entire visit. You are never alone.

Q. How long will I be asleep?
A. It will depend on your specific treatment.

Q. Will someone need to accompany me?
A. Yes, due to the sedative effects of the anesthesia you will need someone to drive you to our office and home again.

Q. If I receive outpatient general anesthesia, how long before I can resume normal activities?
A. You should rest and relax the day of treatment and most people return to normal on the second day after treatment.

Q. Will any dentistry be done before my first visit?
A. On your first visit, the doctor will want to focus on getting to know you; consulting with you; discussing your concerns, fears, or problems; giving you a full dental and medical examination, and creating a treatment plan.

Q. What is the cost of treatment?
A. It's very affordable. Outpatient general anesthesia is significantly less expensive than hospital-based anesthesia. We have monthly payment options through Care Credit for qualified applicants.
